Tax Manager
Responsibilities
• Reviews federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and S corporations
• Handles federal and state income tax audits
• Prepares tax research and tax projections
• Manages and reviews tax work of staff
• Anticipates, identifies, and resolves complex project issues
• Manages department/staff budgets, monitors realization, utilization, and accounts receivable progress
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Be an Enrolled Agent OR actively pursuing certification within the first year of moving into a management roll
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a public accounting firm in a tax related position
